Pre ride inspection

By: Unknown

As we are very vulnerable when riding a motorcycle, a thorough inspection before each and every ride will give us peace of mind.
An easy way to remember the points to check is T-CLOC

T Tires and wheels (look for any damages, check the air pressure)
C Controls and cables (check that all controls operate freely and that they return easily to the off position)
L Lights and electrics (Make sure the front beam and blinkers work properly)
O Oil and fuel (very important) (check oil and fuel level)
C Chain, chassis and suspension. (check chain tension, suspension leaks or any other damage)

A proper inspection before every ride will ensure that the motorcycle is in proper working order, reducing the chance of injury or equipment damage.
Will also reduce the chances of being stranded because of a breakdown.
